Doing housework constantly challenges one’s love because of the cry of an infant daughter, the yelling of an infant son and unspoken expectations surrounding an older son's mischievous behavior. In addition, one's wife often voices complaints that she has to do all this work without reward. Do you have the determination to maintain your professional demeanor as a Good Dad even though your family life is harsh? The Angry Dad plot and background take place above.

When new jobs appear, a Stress bar appears at first. As more unresolved issues appear, the Stress bar fills faster and higher stress levels appear. Stress can be alleviated by taking action on three fronts. Playing a goal for the team releases stress for Daddy; he can then enjoy watching TV. Beer makes Daddy more masculine, but excessive drinking can have negative consequences. When you accomplish something useful, receive compliments from family members. This includes your wife if you clean the dishes. There are a limited number of ways to relieve stress. These include good luck and an available supply of work and stress. Suppose the daughter coordinates a family soccer game appeal. This means that washing a car in the backyard becomes an opportunity to observe a football match. When you finally manage to get in, the stress of not being able to make it in time causes you to scream in frustration. In addition, your attempts to fit in won't even alleviate the stress at all— they'll just increase it a little. Yes, it's true in reality.

No need to worry about the story or mission thanks to Angry Dad's helpful narration. He provides an audio track that's short, detailed, and has text in the lower right corner of the screen. This allows you to easily read the information while also informing you when something important needs attention. When alarmed by oncoming danger, Angry Dad emits a specific sound effect and any other activity will spook you. This text serves as a guide for the gameplay by directing how to interact with the phone's screen. Moving and dragging the screen on the phone prompts almost all actions in the game. For example, when it comes to washing dishes, only moving to the kitchen prompts Dad to pick up the dishes himself. Clean plates automatically dispense from the game once instructed to do so via the touchscreen. Touching and dragging a plate deposits it in the washer; plates need only be moved until clean. After washing, plates naturally return to the table without further input.

The more chores, child care and daily obligations you can juggle well, the more points you'll earn. These points boost your beer options, help your team win more often and even help Dad continue to live in his house. The more you juggle all these responsibilities, the sooner Dad will move again.

This game is 2D animated with a humorous art style. The more important aspect of its design to consider is the sound effects— because there are over 100 distractions for this grumpy dad. Several times a day, unusual sounds ring out to stress out Dad. Then, when Dad’s workplace appears, a fast-paced rhythm kicks in to induce feelings of impending doom. Although Dad’s probably stressed out already, this same process happens each time he works. In certain situations, the game's sounds become louder and more noticeable due to the shouting of Dad when stressed, the sounds of other family members and even the annoying noise from the neighbors. This makes the game more engaging and exciting than ever before.

I created this game myself and found it extremely amusing. I knew that even after becoming married and having children that I would never allow myself to live a humdrum life. I then showed this game to a friend who had two children and asked him to play it while I was present. I hoped he would express how his feelings changed when he played the game. He called back a few hours later with his answer: "That was a great game! Just replace Dad with my online persona and my diary will be similar to my daily life. Ha ha!" Living a married life and having children will be very similar to a man’s existence, right? I asked the question again, substituting the word “boring” for its original “mundane.” He remarked that she was still relatively young. Suggesting she get married and live life would better understand him. He perceived some trade-offs to be worthwhile, particularly children. Despite their behavior, he thought they were still cute. ———
