You start the game by picking one of the character classes available. From there, you find other characters to complete tasks; these may involve killing enemies, collecting items or buying and selling items. Additional bonuses and experience are awarded when progress is made— this occurs naturally as the player levels up. New abilities are unlocked with each new level, as well as bonus attributes. Some later mission objectives become more difficult to complete. Different elements and characters come with unique traits and abilities that help you defeat your enemies. The more enemies you face, the harder they get. During battle, your characters have a stamina and health meter called an energy bar and a HP bar. Using skills depletes mana, which can be regained over time. Damage dealt by enemies cause a character's health points to decrease; this can be deadly if not dealt with intelligence. It is imperative to fight strategically to maintain the advantage.

KingsRoad features three distinct classes that revolve around the abilities of each. The first class is a knight endowed with superior hand-to-hand combat and stamina. Next is a rifleman proficient in using bows and crossbows. They use their skills to swiftly attack distant enemies. You can use witches against characters you dislike. These super villains have bad magical powers and perform dodgy moves. Each one comes with five different skills, including active and passive. These can quickly destroy targets when used. Use the power of a chosen character class at higher levels to discover new abilities.

Equipment is what heroes need to strengthen them. Each character class requires a specific type of equipment to use. If the equipment isn’t appropriate for the character class, it won’t be able to be used in any way. Specific color codes tiered rarity exist; these include blue, white and the rarer purple, orange and other colors. A common rarity can be acquired through special operations. Having access to ten different pieces of equipment grants you access to everything you need. Doing spinning attacks or killing bosses gives you the best results.

Without a cooperative game mode, KingsRoad doesn’t have the full RPG experience. This mode allows players to join clones together and work together to combat hordes of monsters and save themselves from a deadly dungeon. Playing this mode grants players access to rewarding prizes and honing their fighting abilities. They also enjoy a more carefree day as they build strength. These large enemies must be defeated to access these features. You can also face off against other players in duels. This requires you to check your current skill level.

Associations and alliances provide benefits beyond healthy competition. Associations and alliances provide daily rewards that are far more valuable than individual efforts. Creating one also grants access to additional perks. Alliance a missions give players a large amount of experience and resources. These same resources and experience allow players to improve their ranking on the leaderboard through battle between alliances. Additionally, alliance missions provide a means to meet new people faster than other missions. Future growth requires continued support from one another.
