You play as Kosmo, an astronaut who's in his early 20s. One day, a spacecraft Kosmo and his love interest Nova shared was attacked by an anonymous force. Nova tried to protect them by creating a black hole that pulled all the attackers into another universe. Before vanishing from the universe, the enigma rips Nova to pieces. Its destructive handiwork spews debris that obliterates Nova's body. Searching for Nova’s broken parts in hopes of uniting her again, the traveler sails between galaxies.

As part of your first task, you have to block the creature with the broken Nova inside it. After forcing the creature to spit out Nova, you have to find collect items and find a way to pass. Although the game’s story is told without words, it still manages to stand out thanks to its strong emotions. Each body part or Novas forgotten memories will be paired up with an emotion in the story of pain that’s described through a non-verbal comic. You occasionally pick up a few keepsakes from your Nova adventure, such as a Kosmo-style figurine or necklace made by Nova. You might also find a charm with many memorable memories attached. In Love You to Bits, the player controls a tireless young man named Kosmo. The game's protagonist makes foolish decisions and displays a smile on his lips despite his idiocy. However, this is part of the game's charm thanks to its bright interface and storyline. Because of it, the player must fall in love with Kosmo in order to find his girlfriend's life.

When I pick up a few souvenirs from time to time, I always take home Nova memories along with a Kosmo-style figurine.
