As the god of thunder, Longfellow has blue thunderbolts always close to him. His legendary sword is said to possess incredible destructive power.

Cards represent each general as they enter battle. Players can still upgrade, equip weapons, and clothe their character— even a champion can don up to six items, such as hats, pants, shoes, shirts and flags. Before increasing a character's level, update the items. Doing this gives the player more attack options each round and helps them level up. High-level items have a more intricate and impressive design than lower-level ones. When someone looks at a high-level item, it makes them feel like a king. More blood is spilled during a battle and the amount of experience received increases with each battle.

After winning a Scuffle, the player can occupy a region on the map that shows missions at various locations. Each region has strengths and weaknesses that affect performance. A snow-covered forest with jagged peaks and trees uprooted by the frost lies beyond the edge of the woodlands. A small stone yard owned by a wealthy, yet abandoned, city lord contains old possessions strewn across the ground. When wandering this region, one should keep an eye out for animals darting between fallen tree stumps or snowy white zones that erase cliffs and even leaves. At the end of the game, players face the purple boss— a rectangular table that they defeated in 19 other arenas. Players can explore new skills after obtaining successful territory holdings. There are rewards after every battle, including magic, moonstones and new outfits and equipment. Additionally, scuffle officers provide additional learning opportunities for players.
