In my opinion, the murderer is less like Conan and more like Among Us. The character development is very structured and proper; it’s not just a mess of red paint with no personality. Nine people are present in the mansion, but the real killer lies among them. In Among Us, the crew work on a spaceship. However, they don't look for clues while repairing a ship in Dark Matter. Instead, they're investigating a dark and horror-themed scene. This is why the crew isn't working on a ship. The biggest difference between Among Us: Crew vs Imposter and Suspects: Mystery Mansion is the method of murder. Among Us has the killer shoot the victim behind them, while Suspects features a murderer who can kill multiple people by suffocating, shocking them, poisoning them or stabbing a knife in them. However, the PC game Among Us has a much deeper gameplay than its mobile counterpart Suspects. Because of this reason, it would be impossible to create a similar game on a mobile platform like Suspects.

Your first task once you pick your character is a to-do list that appears automatically. This lists your first few tasks, such as choosing your starting gear. The game begins then and there. Play online with other 9 real players as you try to solve the mysterious murder. Perform investigative tasks to get closer to finding the killers' identity. But be careful, this will be no easy task: the killers are among the group and will stop at nothing to “kill” the investigation!

Between rounds, you and other players will discuss who the killers might be. Everyone is a suspect in this social game of deduction. Discuss live with other players using the integrated voice chat feature. Where was the body? Where were they? What tasks did they perform? Who were they walking with? Who was acting suspiciously?

After discussing, the game will ask you to vote. Vote with your gut to evict the suspect from the mansion. But be careful: if you suspect another innocent guest and vote them out of the mansion, you will be helping the killers win the game!
